In 2015, Daniel Li walked onto a modest factory floor with a few sewing machines and a small team — and a simple conviction: procurement teams deserve better than middlemen.
While competitors were building sales offices and hiring account executives, we were building production lines — putting our money into machinery, material testing, and quality control.
Since 2015, that same conviction has driven every decision. Our 10,000+ SQM facility runs 12 dedicated production lines, serving clients across construction, healthcare, hospitality, and heavy industry. When a client asks about fabric specs, lead times, or QC protocols, the answer comes from the production manager — not a sales script.

Daniel founded LantaoWork on a single principle:
A supplier's word should mean something.
Starting from a small workshop in China, he handled sales, sourcing, and quality checks himself before the team existed. That is why he still knows every corner of the floor.
Today, he leads a growing team, but the routine hasn't changed: he still personally reviews quality reports, believing leadership means understanding every step — fabric inspection, cutting, sewing, QC, and final packaging.
Under his watch, LantaoWork has earned ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and BSCI certifications — and a reputation for delivering on promises that larger distributors routinely break.
