FIT IS A
DESIGN LANGUAGE
Before a guest reads a name tag, your uniform's cut has already spoken. Our pattern studio translates your brand into fit — precision, warmth, or authority, in a single glance.
Slim Silhouette
European-cut tapered waist, narrowed sleeves, higher armhole. For boutique hotels and fine dining where precision is the brand.
Relaxed Silhouette
American-fit generous ease through chest and waist. For full-service hotels and casual dining where all-day comfort matters.
Gender-Specific Fit
Separate men's and women's blocks from anthropometric data — not a unisex pattern with a different label.
Design Translation
Your sketches and references become engineered pattern blocks — fabric behavior factored into every seam.
Fit Dialogue
Muslin samples, staff try-ons, fit photos, revisions — a dialogue until the drape is right on every body type.
Pattern Master
Approved patterns digitized and locked. Every reorder cuts from the same master — identical fit, years apart.

TESTED TO STANDARD
BUILT TO LAST
Every fabric and finished garment is tested against international ISO and AATCC standards. Our production facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified, audited annually by SGS. OEKO-TEX Class II certified for skin-contact safety across all staff roles.
Quality Management System
Full production facility certified — audited annually by SGS. Covers design, sampling, production, QC inspection, and logistics processes.
Pilling Resistance
Grade 4 — minimal surface pilling after 1,000+ hours of wear simulation
Tensile Strength
≥ 400 N — seam integrity maintained under stress loads exceeding daily use
Colorfastness to Laundering
Grade 4–5 — color retention through 50+ commercial wash cycles
Harmful Substance Testing
Class II certification — every fabric tested free of restricted chemicals and allergens, suitable for prolonged skin contact
BRAND IDENTITY,
BUILT IN
Private label manufacturing at every touchpoint — woven labels, hang tags, and branded packaging. Full white-label discretion from factory floor to final delivery.
Private Label Program
Full white-label manufacturing — brand name on the neck label, hang tag, and packaging. The uniform line belongs entirely to the property, with complete supply-chain discretion.
Woven Labels
Jacquard-woven labels in satin, damask, or taffeta finish. Logo, brand name, size, care instructions, and country of origin — woven into a premium label that matches the property standard.
Hang Tags & Trim
Custom-designed hang tags that tell a brand story. From minimalist kraft paper with foil stamping to premium multi-page booklets with property photography.
Retail-Ready Packaging
Individual polybagging with size stickers, bulk-pack cartons with barcode labels, and branded tissue wrap. Ready for direct distribution — no repacking required.
MULTI-PROPERTY,
ONE SYSTEM
Managing uniforms across 5, 15, or 50 properties on one production timeline — regional sizing, barcode-tracked delivery, and per-property kitting from a single factory floor.
Barcode Tracking
Each garment receives a unique barcode linking to property, department, role, size, and employee name. Scan at receiving to verify shipment accuracy and automate distribution.
Regional Size Profiling
Size distributions optimized by region — not a one-size-fits-all approach. Southeast Asian properties get different size curves than Middle Eastern or European locations.
Property-Specific Kitting
Pre-sorted cartons with individual employee kits — labeled and organized by department and role. Ready to distribute on arrival, no central warehouse stop required.
Multi-Property Rollout Timeline
Size Census
Digital sizing forms for HR teams. Staff submit measurements via mobile-friendly form. Aggregated into a master size run.
Production by Property
Manufacturing batched by property with individual carton labels. Each property tracked independently on the same production timeline.
QC by Lot
AQL 2.5 inspection per property lot — not just per production run. Each allocation independently inspected before packing.
Regional Distribution
Cartons routed to regional hubs or direct to properties. DDP shipping available for major markets. Real-time tracking on all shipments.
Onboarding Support
Digital care guide with wash instructions and sizing exchange protocol. Dedicated account manager for reorders and new property additions.
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
The group's properties span Paris, London, and Milan — each property with its own design brief and aesthetic standard. Finding one manufacturer who could deliver consistent quality while adapting to each location's identity felt impossible.
LantaoWork's sampling process was the differentiator. Three rounds of fit and fabric refinements, each one arriving in under 10 days. The embroidery precision on the silk-blend concierge blazers exceeded what the previous French atelier delivered at triple the cost — and their defect rate was 4× higher.
The rollout covered 840 uniforms across 12 European properties in 6 countries. 98.2% first-pass AQL acceptance. Annual uniform spend dropped 34% while staff satisfaction scores rose from 6.8 to 9.1.
Managing front-of-house uniforms for 15 hotel properties across the US — from Manhattan five-stars to Miami beachfront resorts — was a logistics nightmare. Black blazers from one vendor, white shirts from another, nobody's blacks actually matching.
LantaoWork consolidated 3,200 pieces across 7 garment SKUs under a single spec. Their spectrophotometer color-matching keeps Delta E ≤ 1.5 across every batch — black is actually black across every garment, every order, every year. Pre-sorted kitting by property cut on-site distribution from 3 days to 4 hours.
The properties now look like they belong to the same brand. Uniform-related complaints dropped 76% in the first year. For a portfolio with thousands of guest-facing staff, that consistency is worth every dollar.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ABOUT HOSPITALITY UNIFORMS
What is the minimum order quantity for custom hospitality uniforms? + −
MOQ is 100 pieces per style. For multi-property groups, this can be split across properties — 50 pieces each for two locations sharing the same fabric and design base. Ideal for boutique hotel groups that need consistent branding without overstocking.
How do you ensure color consistency across multiple property orders placed months apart? + −
Every fabric lot is spectrophotometer-verified against your approved Pantone reference. A master swatch from your first production run is retained and every subsequent order is matched to it — not just the Pantone code. Lot-to-lot delta E ≤ 1.5, guaranteed.
Can you create custom patterns from our design sketches or inspiration images? + −
Yes. Our pattern team works from tech packs, sketches, reference garments, or mood boards. A custom pattern and fit sample ships within 10 business days. Revisions are included until fit and silhouette are exactly right.
What fabric options do you recommend for front-of-house staff who need to look crisp through a 10-hour shift? + −
Our most popular FOH fabric is a 4-way stretch cotton-poly-spandex blend with wrinkle-resistance — moves with the body, resists creasing, and comes out of the industrial dryer ready to wear. For warmer climates, we recommend a lightweight moisture-wicking poly-viscose with COOLMAX technology.
How long does production take, from sampling to delivery? + −
Fit sampling: 7–10 business days from pattern approval. Bulk production: 25–35 calendar days. Multi-property rollout with barcode tracking: add 3–5 days. Rush production (18–22 days) available for an expedite fee.
How is our design intellectual property protected? + −
All designs are protected under NDA. Your patterns live in a private digital archive — never reused, never white-labeled. Ownership of every original pattern transfers to you at final approval.
Can we reorder replacement pieces for new hires without meeting the full MOQ? + −
Yes. Once your patterns are locked in our digital archive, reorders for individual replacement pieces are supported — no full MOQ required. Typical lead time for replacements is 15–20 calendar days. A dedicated account manager tracks your reorder history and can hold buffer stock of high-turnover sizes to ship within 48 hours.
What happens if a batch arrives with defects? + −
Every shipment undergoes AQL 2.5 inspection before dispatch, but if any batch still arrives with defects exceeding the agreed threshold, we cover the cost of replacement production and shipping. Defects must be documented with photos within 14 days of delivery. We have never had a batch rejected at destination in 9 years of hospitality uniform production.
