SIX INSPECTIONS
BEFORE SHIPMENT
Your order doesn't get one check at the end — it passes six independent inspection gates, from raw material to packed carton. If a gate fails, the order stops. Here's exactly what happens at each one.
Raw Material Intake
Every fabric roll, zipper lot, and reflective tape spool checked against spec before entering inventory. Gram weight, weave density, colorimetry (delta E ≤ 1.5), FR rating verified on receipt. Non-conforming material quarantined and returned.
Pattern & Cut Verification
First-piece from each marker measured across 12 control points. Ply height tolerance ±2mm. Fabric defects chalk-marked during spreading — any defective panel discarded before it reaches a sewing machine.
In-Line Stitching Audit
Random grab-sample from every operator, every 90 minutes. Seam strength on a tensile rig, stitch count against spec, bartack placement. A failing sample triggers immediate station shutdown and root-cause review.
End-of-Line Full Garment Check
17-point inspection: seam alignment, pocket symmetry, zipper function, button pull-strength, reflective tape position (±2mm), label legibility, color under D65 light. Hi-vis garments: retroreflectivity measured against ANSI/ISEA 107.
Third-Party Lab Certification
Samples from every production lot sent to an independent ISO 17025-accredited lab. FR tested to NFPA 2112, hi-vis to ANSI/ISEA 107, anti-static to EN 1149. Each report carries your purchase order number.
Pre-Shipment Final Audit
AQL 2.5 Level II sampling from packed cartons. Size distribution, labels, barcodes, packaging integrity. Above-threshold failures trigger 100% re-inspection. Certificate of Conformity and full compliance file ship with the goods.
Every shipment includes: lot-specific lab reports, certificate of conformity, AQL 2.5 inspection report, and barcoded packing list.

PROVEN ON THE FLOOR
We needed 800 FR hi-vis jackets for our construction crews — ANSI 107 Class 3, NFPA 2112 certified, with company logo embroidery and name labels for 180 individual workers. LantaoWork managed the entire size matrix from our roster spreadsheet, delivered fit samples in 5 days, and completed full production in 28 days. Every jacket matched the spec — reflective tape placement within 2mm tolerance, Pantone-matched embroidery with delta E under 1.5. No exchanges, no returns, no crew downtime.
We had a contract deadline with penalties — 3,500 units across hi-vis vests, work shirts, and cargo pants, all with custom screen printing. LantaoWork split production across 4 lines, ran inline QC at every station, and air-freighted half the order to hit our distribution deadline. Sixteen days from signed PO to delivery at three warehouse locations. The AQL 2.5 inspection reports came with the shipment — zero major defects across the entire order.
QUESTIONS WORTH ANSWERING
Do you provide per-lot certification — or just a one-time factory certificate? + −
Per-lot. Every production batch ships with test reports specific to that lot — FR to NFPA 2112, hi-vis to ANSI/ISEA 107, anti-static to EN 1149. Each report references your purchase order number. For regulated industries, we include the full traceability package: lab reports, certificate of conformity, and material lot records — in your hands before the shipment arrives.
Can a single garment meet multiple standards? We need FR, hi-vis, and anti-static together. + −
Yes — and this is what we do most. A single coverall can be certified to NFPA 2112 (FR), ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 3 (hi-vis), and EN 1149 (anti-static) simultaneously. The fabric system is engineered at the yarn level — FR treatment doesn't wash out, hi-vis dye is UV-stabilized, and the anti-static grid is woven into the base fabric, not sprayed on. We test the finished garment, not just the fabric bolt, so you get certified multi-hazard protection in one piece.
Can you match our existing uniform — we already have samples we like? + −
Yes. Send us a garment and we break it down: fabric weight and weave, seam type and stitch count, pocket dimensions and reinforcement, reflective tape grade and segment pattern, hardware spec and finish. Your existing piece becomes the reference standard for production. We archive the digitized tech pack so your reorder matches the original — not "close enough," identical. Most procurement teams send us one sample from their current supplier and switch within two production cycles.
How many industrial wash cycles can your reflective tape and FR treatment survive? + −
Our segmented reflective tape is rated for 50+ industrial launderings at 75°C before retroreflectivity drops below ANSI/ISEA 107 minimums — tested per ASTM D3951. Inherent FR fabrics (Nomex, Kevlar blends) are flame-resistant for the life of the garment — it's in the molecular structure, not a topical finish. FR-treated cotton holds certification through 80+ wash cycles when laundered per NFPA 2113 guidelines. We provide wash-cycle certification data with your first order so you can plan your replacement cycle.
What happens if a production batch fails inspection? + −
It doesn't ship. A batch that fails AQL 2.5 sampling triggers 100% re-inspection of the entire lot. Root cause is identified within 24 hours, corrected, and the lot is re-run through final QC. You are notified the same day. In 12+ years of manufacturing, we have never shipped a failed lot.
