Editorial Policy

Our readers are procurement teams, safety officers, and operations leads who require cold, hard data — not marketing fluff.

The integrity of LantaoWork relies on our independence from the manufacturers and vendors we cover. Our editorial decisions are never influenced by commercial interests.

1. Mandatory Financial Disclosures

All contributors must submit an annual disclosure form. We mandate the public flagging of:

Direct Equity

Any holding of more than $5,000 in a manufacturing company or parent organization mentioned in our content.

Advisory Roles

Any past or present consulting work for a manufacturer mentioned in a "Market Comparison" or "Supplier Directory" article.

Affiliate Transparency

If a link generates a commission, it is clearly disclosed. Commissions never influence a product's final assessment or ranking.

2. Sample & Early Access Policy

To maintain an objective perspective, we follow strict rules regarding manufacturer perks:

Production Samples

While we accept pre-production samples for evaluation, our final assessments are based on production-run quality — what you would actually receive in a bulk order.

Gratuities

We do not accept paid travel, gifts, or "influencer" kits. Any product samples provided for evaluation are returned within 30 days of the review's publication.

3. The Editorial Wall

Our editorial team operates completely independently from commercial interests. No manufacturer gets to review, revise, or veto our assessment before publication:

Editorial Independence

The sales team at LantaoWork has zero input on editorial rankings or recommendations.

Vendor Fact-Check

We may send technical specifications to a manufacturer to ensure we haven't misinterpreted their capabilities, but we never share our final opinion or "Verdict" for pre-approval. If a manufacturer threatens to pull their business due to a negative review, the review is published regardless.
